Does this sound like your child?

Most parents come to me for one of three reasons.

The concepts feel unclear

They can do the homework in class, then a slightly different question in the exam blanks them out. It's a sign the underlying idea was never fully grasped not that they can't do it.

Confidence has quietly dropped

They've stopped asking questions, stopped trying the harder ones, or started saying 'I'm just not a Maths person.' That belief is the thing I work hardest to undo.

Anxiety around exam questions

They know the Maths, until the paper is in front of them. Then the timing, the wording, or the pressure takes over. Exam technique is a skill, and it can be taught.

If any of these feel familiar, it's not a sign your child can't do Maths, it's a sign the right piece hasn't been rebuilt yet. That's the part I can fix. Tell me what's going on and I'll explain how.

How my tutoring helps

Simple, focused, and built around your child.

No gimmicks, just the four things that actually move a Maths grade: finding the gaps, explaining them clearly, practising the real questions, and keeping you informed the whole way.

I find the exact gaps

Not a guess, I work out precisely which topics have slipped, so we spend time on what actually moves the grade.

I explain it clearly

In a way your child can repeat back to me, then to themselves, then to an exam question. Understanding they can actually use.

We practise exam questions

Real exam-style questions, the way the paper will ask them. Understanding that can't survive the exam isn't understanding yet.

I keep you informed

Plain-English progress updates, what we've covered, what's clicking, and what's next. You're never in the dark.

Ajeet, GCSE Maths tutor

About me

I'm Ajeet. I teach Maths because I remember being the confused one.

I'm the founder of Ajeet Learning. I've tutored GCSE Maths students over the past 10 years, alongside my other work, mostly students who, at the start, were convinced they "just weren't Maths people."

I teach Maths because I know exactly how it feels to sit in a lesson and not follow, and how quickly that turns around when someone explains the one thing you were missing. That's the job I do, every day.
